3 Tips/Mindset shifts to be Consistent With using your planner

Sharing is Caring!

Going into 2020 was the first year that I OBSESSED over finding just the right planner. I watched YouTube videos. I asked my sister and my friends which planner they would be getting. I pored over several different websites. I printed out sample planner pages. I subscribed to email lists, and did everything else I could to match myself to the perfect planner. The one that would magically motivate me to become the consistent planner that I never was.

All my hard work paid off when I found the Prayerful Planner. I was so zealous about this planner that I made a super detailed unboxing YouTube video. I started taking photos of my daily plans and posting them in the exclusive FaceBook group. Child, y’all couldn’t tell me nothing. I was decorating with stickers and using colorful pens, and then before you know it, along came February and my zeal must’ve dried up because out of the 29 days in February I only planned for 7 of them.

One of my favorite things about a new year is getting a new planner. Not so many years ago, the process used to be as simple as going to Wal Mart or Target finding a planner that was the right size and design cover, purchasing it, and heading home. Simple enough right?

1. schedule it

2. make it a part of your routine

3. Plan weekly

4. Track your progress

I’ll use planner for my YouTube, blogging, Instagram and Pinterest content.
